Celebrating the 10 years in Pekingese

 Here are some pictures of the important Utopian Pekingese during the last 10 years. I am so proud of our Champion percentage which is so high. Out of 12 Utopian dogs, 9 are at least Finnish Champions! I don't know if any Pekingese kennel can beat that!? These 10 years have brought so much joy but also tears, lots of good friends but also jealous people. My kids have been growing up with these wonderful little liondogs and I guess the kids are so much wiser now! There are many people I am very grateful for different reasons, I like to mention some: Pia Backman ( for giving me Backlee Grande Diva and Backlee King Creole and showing me what the true pekingese looks like!!). Margit Rajahalme ( giving me so much help in the beginnig). Riina Turunen(I would have lost all puppies from my first litter without her help).Kristiina Kästämä ( for all of her help when I was pregnant with Elmo and also when Elmo was a baby) Kati and Ulla-Maija Kuula ( for their great friendship and Blue Creek's Queen D'Pompon and Blue Creek's Viva La Valentina). Raymond O'Neill( for his English view of Pekingese and taking so great care of our Utopian Sven the Viking at Trendylook when he was visiting there and also of the fabulous StSanja For Sure at Trendylook).Sari Laaksonen(of her great friendship and the different view of pekes). Gunilla Heinonen ( for my last Utopian J-litter and taking so good care of Utopian Spark of Buddha) Maria Sundström( for her friendship and the possibility to use her fabulous Old Budda's dogs). I am probably forgetting some people and I want to Thank You All who have been with us during these 10 years. The results have been mind blowing!! The handlers could also almost be my prognency class, except Kati Kuula from left, there are my kids Hanna and Henri and I. I also have more great helpers and handlers Hugo , Hilla and Elmo . I also want to thank you my kids and husband who have been thru it all!!! Without you; Esa, Elmo ,Hugo, Hilla, Hanna and Henri I couldn't have done  this all!!! :) Love you!

New Utopian J-litter

Yes!!! We have beautiful new puppies!! Fi & Lv Ch Utopian Spark of Buddha gave birth to 3 fabulous puppies. Spark is at least the 5th generation of self whelping bitches and she did it so great. The proud father is the Englishman No & Se Ch Genisim Besenyei. Thank you Gunilla and Espen of these so long waited puppies!!

And here they are: 2 boys and 1 girl. Born on 17th of December. In the pictures they are 2 days old.

Jyväskylä 2x international shows

Breeder Judge Mr Albert Easdon , kennel Yakee, gives our Blue Creek's Viva La Valentina a CC in Jyväskylä international show. As this wasn't enough , Mr Easdon also makes our Valentina a Best Bitch and BOS!! She is 13 months of age! What a great win! Valentina's mother CIB ,CH Utopian Silvia the Queen is Best Bitch- 3 and res-cacib. What a memorable day. Thank you so much!

In her last 4 shows Blue Creek's Viva La Valentina has got 3 CCs under Breeder Judges: Mrs Liz Stannard, Mr Harto Stockmari and Mr Albert Easdon. I am so proud of her achievement! :)

Also in Saturday U. Silvia the Queen is Best Bitch 2 under Breeder Judge Mr Marco Marabotto.

Utopian Silvia the Queen rules

At Seinäjoki International Show Ch Utopian Silvia The Queen aka Vieno was BOS with Cacib. The judge was Tiina Taulos, thank you so much! Vieno has so far won this year in Finland 7 BOS placements and 1 BOB. All except one are from International Shows. She also was taking her time off in the beginnig of year as her puppies were quite young.Vieno has also been abroad 4 times and she has 3 BOS placements and 1 BOB from there! Thank you so much Kati and Ulla-Maija Kuula for taking such a great care of Vieno!!

Finnish Spaniel and Waterdog Specialty

At her first show in a puppy class Gleska For Fun aka Pulmu was Best Bitch Puppy out of 7 female puppies. Which makes this a great win, is, that the judge was the world famous Mr Lagotto, Giovanni Morsiani from Italy. I am so happy of Pulmu's great beginnig in a show world.

Also our young boy Foogel Senatore aka Robin was Fourth in very strong junior class. 11 male juniors all together. Mr. Morsiani wrote down of Robin: "Interesting young male"

New Fi Ch Utopian Summer of Sweden

The last one to become a Champion from the famous S-litter was Utopian Summer of Sweden aka Saara. She was BOB today at Group 9 Specialty in Tampere. Thank you so much judge Mr. Tarmo Viirtelä!

Now the whole litter of 5 puppies are at least Finnish Champions! And they are barely 3 years old. The proud parents are : C.I.B , SE, NO & FI Ch, SE W-11 Old Budda's Nostre Damus and Fi & EE Ch Blue Creek's Queen D'Pompon. Thank you so much Maria Sundström and Kati Kuula for your co-operation and friendship! :)

Little Fanny BOB !!!

At Vantaa all breed ch show Blue Creek's Viva La Valentina was BOB with CC at the age of 12 months! There were 10 pekes entered and Valentina was the only one to get " Excellent". The judge was Breeder/judge Mr. Harto Stockmari. Thank you so much!

At Finnish Toydog Specialty CH. Utopian Silvia the Queen BOB!! The judge was Breeder/Judge Liz Stannard from UK and there were 27 pekes. Thank you so much! Congrats again Kati and Ulla-Maija!! Silvia really has been on a roll!! :)

Silvia's junior daughter Blue Creek's Viva La Valentina was BB-3 with CC! Only 3 bitches were given a CQ. Yes, we had a blast as 2 of them were mine and Kati's. :) Our bitches did us proud!

2 Sisters win today

In Heinola, Finland, National show Ch. Utopian Spark of Buddha wins BOB under judge Zoran Brankovich. Spark was the only peke out of 7 pekes who got " Certifigate quality" ribbon! I am so proud of you Spark and Gunilla! Congrats!! :) We also had with us Blue Creek's Viva La Valentina in junior class. She won the class but didn't get "CQ" because "still a baby". Well, yes, she is 11 months...

In Tallinn, Estonia, International show CH. Utopian Silvia the Queen wins BOS with Cacib again! The judge was Daniella Risdan, Slovenia.

The girls rocked this weekend!! I am so happy and congrats to Kati, Gunilla, Ulla-Maija and Pena! :)
