Above are the proud parents of our newest litter. For over 3 years we have tried to have pekingese puppies with no luck. Now that we mated 3 bitches in 2 months we got a litter from everyone! :)
Blue Creek's Queen D'Pompon gave birth today to her son Utopian Peony Marquis aka Voitto. She self-whelped as she has done every time. There was just this one puppy. For the last minute I was sure she wasn't pregnant. Good thing I didn't know she was going to give birth to one puppy as I would have C-sectioned her without giving her chance to try to self-whelp. It runs in lines, Fiona's mother and grand-mothers are self-whelpers, and she has passed this to her daughters.
So far the mother and little Voitto are doing good. This was B.C. Queen D'Pompon's 3rd and last litter. She is just an excellent mother. I couldn't be happier of our last three litters! :D
