Jyväskylä int. shows day 1 and 2

Interesting show weekend. I must say that this Breed Spcific Instructions about health can take a judge to some bizarre sphere like we saw Saturday.
22 pekes judged by Hans Van Den Berg, only 3 excellents. Majority of the pekes got Good. None were worth of cc because "health issues" . Too big nose wrinkles, too small nostrills, too much white on eye and so on. Funny thing was I didn't see any pekes suffering from breathing difficulties and so on I thought this was all about.
Glad to at least say that from the 3 excellents 2 were our girls: Utopian Daytona Spring Chick and Utopian Jewel of Winter. I wish we could get over these judges who go wild about I would say nothing.It is very frustrating to pay very high entry fees and then get an pretend to be a vet exemination and not a beauty show.
On the bright side after yesterday's fiasco we got a new International show today at Jyväskylä and the judge was Tamas Jakkel from Hungary and 19 pekes entered.
BOS was our Fi Ch Utopian Jewel of Winter with Cacib.  Best Male-3 with CC and Res-cacib which will turn into Cacib was Incredible Dream Du Prieure aux Comtes.
Very happy about this but what made me over to moon was the critic about my breeder's group which was also BOB-Breeder's Group: Here it is: " Attractive group. Ecxellent breed type. Lovely sound healthy dogs. All good movers. Nothing ecacurated."
Makes you wonder , doesn't it?
